About the Cane River Artists

We are four women united by friendship, creativity, and a love of the historic Natchitoches area. Cane River Artists began as a group of close friends who enjoyed sharing creative ideas and techniques. You can find us variously on the banks of the Cane or Red Rivers painting en plein air, or meeting at each other's studios for creative sessions.

Organized in 2010, current members are Linda Brennan, Susan Gunther, Jo O’Quinn and Debbie Paul.

Original fine artwork in watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, hand-made paper, clay and wood; quality prints and cards; and uncommonly creative, original gift items are some of the works created by members of the group.
